Conditions of Use
The housing is designed for use in explosive areas both inside and outside premises in which flammable dust, fume and gas mixtures which come under spontaneous ignition temperature group T6 (GOST R 51330.0-99) are (may be) present.
The climate factor standard for use in working conditions according to GOST 15150-69 is for climate version Moderate Cold 1.5, but it is also of the standard for being kept in a corrosive atmosphere, and for marine (III) and coastal industrial (IV) atmospheres.
For use in non-working conditions (transport, storage, to be turned on after a period of disuse) the lowest temperature standard should not be lower than minus 30ºС. According to operational temperature of the environment the housing comes under special electrical apparatus category (GOST R 51330.0-99).
Features
- The type of explosion protection used is an explosion-proof casing (“d” GOST R 51330.1-99). Explosion protection is achieved through enclosure of the camera and all the electronic parts within the explosion-proof casing, which contains the pressure of an internal explosion and prevents the explosion from passing on to the surrounding environment.
- The built-in power supply produces a universal voltage range for cameras and provides galvanic power supply decoupling.
- For the purpose of creating the favorable temperature conditions for the camera to function, the housing is equipped with a triple heating system. The heating system includes a unit of heaters which directly maintain the temperature of the camera body, a dual-mode screen heater and a high-powered mounting plate heater.
- The housing control unit carries out the trouble-free procedure of switching on the camera (the power supply is fed to the camera only after preliminary warming-up).
- The camera body heater (6 W) is controlled by an electronic sensor.
- The mounting plate heater (20 W) and the dual-mode screen heater (4.5/13.5 W) are controlled by a bimetal thermorelay.
- A wall bracket with two degrees of freedom ensures the vertical mounting of the housing and the choice of scan direction of the camera (search for objects) to a wide range of angles.
- Input voltage: 24V AC.
- The exterior elements of the housing construction are made out of corrosion-resistant materials.
- The built-in lightning-arrester and protection against high-voltage impulse interferences.
